At the begining Heidi and Dete our walking up to the mountain. Dete wants to go up the mountain to give Heidi wich she has tooken care of for a while up in the mountains where Alm Uncle other wise known as Grandpa to Heidi. She wanted to give Grandpa Heidi to take care of. But Alm Uncle dosn't have a great reputation. But when They get to the top Dete just gives Alm uncle Heidi and runs down the mountain Grandpa has no choice but to take care of Heidi. When Alm Uncle decides to accept the fact that he is going to take care of Heidi that is probably the first most important event. The culture of this book is a christan culture for most of the charcters because later on in the book Heidi and Grandpa go to church. One real aspect of this book is the greedyness of Dete.
